Family, France & Questionable DIY
Robin and his kids joined us the next morning, and we all had a big family lunch โ chaotic, loud, and very Eisenberg. Rob and J left early in the afternoon, and Jim and I were left to do what we do best: sitting around, raiding the snack closet, and pontificating on endless philosophical debates. This time, the catalyst was reflecting on the sheer selflessness parenthood seems to demand, triggered by feeling utterly drained after a few days with the kids. I might have declared that, while I cherish my time with my niblings, I might be too selfish and attached to my quiet time for that whole adventure. Standard late-night philosophical ramblings between Jim and me.
All in all, a good, exhausting, family-filled weekend. And now I need to nap.
